You are probably reading this because you feel stuck.  Something is holding you back and stopping you from moving forward.  Maybe it’s an unrealistic goal or a limiting belief.  However you are experiencing that resistance, it’s keeping you from achieving your goals and reaching your potential.  The good news is that changing your mindset can help reset your aspirations and open up new opportunities for success.  Here are seven ways to change your “cant do” mindset and get motivated again.

    1.  Develop a vision for your future self

Feeling stuck and lacking motivation makes it easy to fall into the pit of negative thinking.  You can easily slip into a negative mindset by focusing on the “what’s” rather than the “why’s” of your situation.  When this happens, you start to see your progress as a failure or a disappointment.  This prevents you from seeing the bigger picture.  What kind of life do you want to lead?  Who do you want to be?  What do you want your moment to be like?  You can use a vision board to design a life you want to see.  Make a board and paste images of your ideal life on it.  Include images of your future self, family, home, work, car, etc.  When you start to see yourself in a more hopeful light, you’ll find yourself with fresh motivation again.

    2.  Reframe your setbacks as learning opportunities

Life will throw you some curveballs.  Nothing will be perfect.  This is okay.  It’s how life works.  However, when you fall into a negative mindset, you start to see everything as negative.  This prevents you from seeing things as opportunities.  When you experience a setback, it’s important to reframe that setback as an opportunity.  How?  Ask yourself the following questions: – Did you learn something new? – Did you gain insight? – Did you discover a solution to a problem? – Did you gain skills or knowledge that you didn’t have before?  If you notice that a setback helped you gather new knowledge and skills, or discover a solution to a problem, reframe that as an opportunity to grow.  That’s what life is all about.  Nothing is perfect, and everything will have its ups and downs.  However, it’s how you choose to respond to those experiences that matter.  If a setback happens, reframe it as an opportunity to grow.  This will allow you to truly turn setbacks into learning opportunities.

    3.  Set more realistic goals.

Start with small and realistic goals.  Every day, you can work towards doing more and more until you reach your goal.  When you reach your goal, change your goal and set a new one.  There’s never a reason to stay in a rut.  When you feel stuck and out of motivation, set more realistic goals and work towards them daily.

    4.  Change Your Environment

You have the power to change your environment.  This doesn’t mean that you have to move to a completely different city or state.  It simply means that you have to change your setting.  Change your environment by changing your surroundings.    Change your surroundings by changing your thoughts.  Change your surroundings by changing your behavior.  Change your surroundings by opening your eyes and changing your perspective.  Change your surroundings by changing your mindset.

    5.  Talk to someone who’s already done it

Talking to someone who’s already done it can help you get back on track when you feel stuck and out of motivation.  When you talk to someone who’s already done it, you can ask them questions and get advice on how to move forward.  You can also use this as an opportunity to ask yourself questions and gain insight into your situation

    6.  Embrace the struggle.  It’s part of the process.

When you experience struggle, don’t let it get to you.  Instead, use that struggle as motivation.  Don’t let it get to you when you feel stuck and out of motivation.  Instead, use that struggle as motivation.  Remember that struggle is part of the process when you feel like you’ve hit a wall and don’t know how to get over it.  It’s part of the journey and part of the destination.  It’s not a sign that you’ve arrived; it’s part of the process.  When you hit a wall, see that wall as an opportunity to grow.  A wall is a wall, and a block is a block.  However, they are also part of the process, and they are a part of your destination.

    7.  Celebrate successes.

When you feel stuck, and out of motivation, it’s essential to take a step back and celebrate your successes.  You don’t have to do this all the time, but it’s necessary to do it from time to time.  When you feel stuck and out of motivation, taking a step back and celebrating your successes is essential.  You don’t have to do this all the time, but it’s important to do it from time to time.

    Conclusion

Mindset is the key to success.  It’s how you see your life and it all starts with your thinking.  If you think positively, you can achieve anything you want in life.  When you feel stuck, and out of motivation, you can use this as an opportunity to shift your mindset and get back on track again.
